BEST 650$ PC BUILD 2017

The major event in the PC market this year was the release of AMD's Ryzen line of processors.
This year the PC market is very different. Last year if you wanted a budget PC you would be buying a dual core i3 processor but know you buy either the Pentium G4560 or AMD Ryzen 1200 processor.
So, due to this change in PC market I decided to make a Budget PC guide for 2017.

So these are the components i will be using:

NOTE THAT PRICE CAN CHANGE OVERTIME

1.Processor:

  • Name: AMD R3 1200
  • Price: 110$
  • Link
  • Reason: This processor is the cheapest quad core with a decent IPC, making it a great bang for the buck.
We Will not be buying a separate cooler with the R3 as the stock cooler is good enough.

2.Video Card:

  • Name: Gigabyte Ge Force GT-X 1060 3 GB
  • Price: 224$
  • Link
  • Reason: The 3 GB 1060 is the best match for the R3 processor.

3.Motherboard:
  • Name: Gigabyte - GA-AB350-Gaming ATX AM4 Motherboard
  • Price: 90$
  • Link
  • Reason: It's a very feature rich board with 4 DIMM slots and as is it a B350 chipset board it allows  us to overclock the CPU.

4.RAM
  • Name: G.Skill Ripjaws V 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
  • Price: 68$
  • Link
  • Reason: G. Skill is a reliable brand for RAM. The 1 x 8 GB Ram configuration should allow you to easily put 32 GB of RAM in the system in the future.
5.Storage

Note that storage is up to personal preferences. So if you want you can put an SSD except for a hard drive or even both.
  • Name: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hard Drive
  • Price: 50$
  • Link
  • Reason: With only 50$ to spend on the storage, a hard drive will more preferred than an SSD with only 120 GB of storage.
6.Power Supply
  • Name: EVGA - B3 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
  • Price: 60$
  • Link
  • Reason: EVGA is a highly reliable and respectable brand when it comes to power supplies. This power supply is fully modular which improves cable management in the case.

7.Case
  • Name: Bitfenix Neos ATX Mid Tower Case
  • Price:35 $
  • Link
  • Reason:A beautiful yet inexpensive case with a side panel. This case is an incredibly great looking case.

TOTAL PRICE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------637 $
